This silver necklace is created by mixing your beloved pet's ashes into the actual silver, and also shows an optional "viewing pane". The "viewing pane" as shown are paw-pads cut out of the metal, and then filled with more ash and resin. If you'd prefer a heart shape rather than paws, please let me know in the comments section. I also offer a resin-tinting service if you are interested in having your viewing pane with some color added (example photos show a light pink resin). These optional colors vary in degree of depth, please inbox if you have any questions. The viewing pane comes standard but if you would NOT like one (solid metal pendant with no cut out), or if you would like the heart cut out but NOT filled with ash, PLEASE inbox me. This design requires very little ash.
The price of this item does NOT include a collection kit to retrieve your cremains. If you prefer to receive a kit (complete with return domestic shipping label), one can be purchased separately from my shop here.

In the event of having left over ashes, you may choose whether you would like them returned to you with the pendant or scattered in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC.. a place I am honored to call home. At my client's requests, I have taken ashes onto kayaking or hiking trips and respectfully scattered them among the beautiful scenery. I created my very first cremation pendant several years ago using my own father's ashes. I wear it daily, and it brings me great comfort. I feel very honored to be able to offer others this comfort when suffering the loss of a pet, and promise to treat your packages with as much respect as I did my own. The pendant is sterling silver and measures approximately 1.10" tall and 1.20" across. Please choose from an assortment of antiqued chains in the drop down. Pendant comes with an antiqued/brushed finish. You may choose to have your loved ones actual handwriting used on the pendant for an additional charge. This add on is available in my shop. Otherwise, a standard font will be used for your necklace.
If you notice in the pictures, the consistency and color of your cremations give the silver a coarse look and the appearance of the viewing pane will differ from one order to the next based on this color/consistency. Collection kit is shipped to and from you for free. For other styles of cremation pendants, please view my shop. I offer many styles and four different methods, all of them being permanent placement of the ash. I do not currently offer screw-cap designs, as I build my items to last and be handed down for generations.
